MULTI-CHANNEL ACOUSTO-OPTIC DEFLECTORS

Russian Technological Association™ presents a Multi -Channel Acousto- Optic Deflectors
(MAOD) designed for fiber-optic telecommunication networks.

MAOD (model RTA TeO2-4M) is based on TeO2 single crystal, operates at 1310 nm and intended for 4 x M switching architecture ( TeO2 based model for 1550 nm – on request).



MAOD (model RTA GaAs-8N) is based on GaAs single crystal, operates in the optical "windows" centered at 1310 nm or 1550 nm and intended for 8 x N switching architecture. This model is not sensitive to the state of input light polarization.


MAOD are completely computer controlled devices with high speed programmable deflection of the laser beams. All models of MAOD have high operational flexibility and can be easily integrated into telecom systems as core elements of an all-optical switches.
